The Best Concert with Boy Pablo.

 

The last concert that I went was back in November of 2019. Me and my friend Fran went to a Boy Pablo´s concert at Blondie disco.

Boy Pablo is an indie-pop band from Norway. Their songs are cheerful and the lyrics talk about things like love, felling lonely or lost, or just want to have fun. The Singer of this band is Norwegian-Chilean, so they add Spanish and Chilean slang.

The ticket sale was almost a year before the concert, and also the massive protests in Chile didn’t stopped. So when the day came, me and Fran totally forgot about it, we were expecting that the concert got cancelled, but it didn’t, WE HAD TO GO.

So Fran and I are from Puente alto, that’s far far away from Blondie and back then, public transport was paralyzed because of the protests. Subway wasn’t an option, and the bus timing was uncertain, but we didn’t had a choice. It took two hours to get there, lovely.

Even with the loooong trip, the concert was amazing. Everyone was kinda euphoric because of what was happening in Chile. I was euphoric too, it was a time for relax and forgot the stress of a sociopolitical problem and just chill for a minute. It was a healing moment. I miss that so much.
